Appointed in January 2021 as the exclusive Australian distributor of the Teknoware range, Coachair provides access to the stylish and functional solutions they offer for bus, coach and rail. This includes their range of lighting and lightweight, high-pressure laminate panels (HPL) for ceilings and sidewalls.

LIGHTWEIGHT PANELS
From 2.43 kg/m2, the Teknoware panel range uses superior technology to deliver a lightweight solution to improve operating costs. Lightweight panels make the vehicle lighter: fuel costs can be reduced and it can carry more passenger weight.
Designed to withstand the needs of a demanding environment, from hard shocks to heat and vibration, the panel surfaces also have excellent cleaning properties. Available in a wide range of colours, patterns and surface textures, the ceiling and sidewall panels can be customised to suit the interior of your vehicle.
TRANSPORT CEILING PANELS
The ceilings are incredibly durable, lightweight and aesthetically pleasing. High-pressure laminates (HPL) consist of multiple layers. The surface gives high resistance to wear, impact, heat and staining. The core layers give strength and flexibility. The panel surfaces are easy to clean: ink marks, graffiti and discolouration can be removed.
BUS, COACH & RAIL SIDEWALLS
Lightweight sidewall panels can be fitted under windows. In circumstances that require a more robust outcome, a double HPL layer on the front surface can be applied for additional surface strength in particular locations.
FORMED CEILING AND LIGHTING SYSTEMS
The Teknoware panels can be integrated with lighting systems, including integrated LED lighting systems with dimming controls and LED spotlights for entrance and driver’s cab illumination. Duct panels can be supplied fully assembled with bonded aluminium profiles, air-conditioning vents and access hatches.
Through the combination of lighting technologies and interior structures, we can create an integrated solution.
TEKNOWARE WAVE
Teknoware Wave is a flexible LED strip specially designed for use in the automotive industry. The Wave is easy to use, install and fix – just remove worn sections and replace with new ones. No need to rewire.
Teknoware Wave is a flexible LED strip that does what Teknoware’s other LED products do, but it’s bendable, cuttable, sustainable and versatile. With Wave, lighting can be integrated in interior structures in completely novel ways, while cutting costs, reducing weight and preserving the environment.
